note: this phone is currently only available on t-mobile (includes connect prepaid and metro).

this phone is pretty fast.

some apps have ads which is really annoying. i don't use those much though.

aside from the calling function, i mostly use text, email, and the browser. that all works fine.

calls sound good.

no issues texting. you just have to get used to it if you're coming from a smartphone.

emailing works fine. apparently you might not be able to login to gmail on this phone through the email app. so keep that in mind.

web browser is ok. some sites work better than others.

third-party apps

there isn't a huge selection of third-party apps.

the only ones i tested are the rss readers. don't really like any of them for various reasons.

be aware that there are ads in third-party apps.

battery issues

something I've noticed is that this phone has some issues with battery usage.

not sure if it's just the phone i received or what.

when bluetooth and geolocation are both on the battery drains fairly quickly.

i don't use geolocation for anything. and I use bluetooth sometimes for transferring files. i've turned both off. only going to have those on when I need them

hotspot

hotspot works pretty well. easy to set up.
